The First Snow

I think it was about 2 weeks ago we had our first big snowstorm of the season. I put off buying snow clothes for Tucker hoping we would have a nice warm winter, but it wasn't meant to be. So Tucker was unfortunately unprepared for the weather but he still had fun playing in the snow with Sheldon.

Tucker was very sad when he fell down in the snow and got a little wet and cold.

After his tumble in the snow, he would only walk in paths that Sheldon had cleared.

Avery was a little more prepared for the snow with her snowsuit. I love that it is so big on her and she looks like a pink marshmallow.

They even made a little slide in the snow.

A cute moment today that made me smile: Tucker was reading his Friend magazine to himself and looking at a picture of Jesus. He started singing 'Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam' to himself. I love hearing him talk and sing to himself.

Thanksgiving

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I lasted posted. But life has definitely been busy with lots of holiday parties. I also started babysitting a 10-month old boy two days a week. Even though it is only two days a week, I feel a lot busier.

This is Tucker and Lincoln and they actually get a long really well and have a lot of fun together. I think it has been good preparation for Tucker and me for when we have another little baby around the house.

We spent Thanksgiving with Sheldon's parents . We ate lots of great food, did some black Friday shopping, and checked out the Hill Air Force Base. It was really cool and I hope to be able to go back again sometime. If you are ever in the area it is definitely worth checking out.

They had a really fun kids/hands-on area. You could climb inside the cockpit of a plane and try out all these science experiments.

Taking a little break to watch a movie.

It was a great Thanksgiving, now we are just counting down until Christmas!
