Halle's Funny Faces

Halle is a very expressive little girl. She is always making the funniest faces at us, already she is such a little comedian. Here are a few of her funny faces and just some cute pictures.

Her squinty face. She's looking at me like, "I know exactly what you're doing Mom, you can't fool me."

I just love this pink hat, it makes her cheeks look extra chubby.

Scrunchy face with tongue sticking out!

This is a video of her doing her scrunchy face.

A cute video of Halle just sitting in a rocking chair at a store.

Tucker 3 years!

Sometimes I still can't believe Tucker is 3 years old! That means he will be going to kindergarten in 2 years, whaaat?? He had his 3 year check-up last month and it went really well except for the fact that he cried almost the whole time. I'm hoping that when he turns 4 it will be a lot easier. He doesn't like anything it doesn't matter if I tell him it won't hurt. Getting his height checked is the only good part because I tell him it's just like they check your height at Disneyland. At least he always calms down fast after everything is over.

Height: 37 in  39%
Weight: 30.6 lbs  39%

Tucker is such a great older brother and brings so much energy and life into our family. He loves puzzles, cars, books, going to the park, movies (or dvdv's as he likes to call them.) and playing with his friends. I think it is challenging now that he realizes he has his agency and he doesn't always have to do what you say. It's tough showing him that there are consequences to his actions. This is such a great age though, I love watching all his pretend play.

Halle 7 months

So Halle is actually now 8 months, but I was late scheduling her 6 month doctor appointment, so she was actually 7 months when I got her in to see the doctor. It was not a very happy doctor's appointment, she had an ear infection that I had no idea she had. She wasn't fussy or anything, she had just gotten over a cold, but I felt bad that I didn't know she had an ear infection. Halle also really had a hard time with the immunization that was a liquid. She gagged, choked, screamed, and it took like 5 minutes to get this little amount of liquid down. I guess she's a pretty stubborn girl, but then the regular shots were a piece of cake compared to that. Her stats at 7 months:

Weight: 16.5 lbs  32%
Height: 27.1 in  66%
Head: 17.8 in  91%

Love my big headed kids :)

She also has 2 teeth coming in on the bottom, but I had no idea because she is not drooly or fussy. Other updates, she also eats food now without gagging and eats quite a bit. I did try to feed her some chicken baby food and she gagged on that, but I don't really blame her because it was kind of weird. She rolls over both ways now and scoots backwards on her tummy until she runs into something and then she gets stuck.

Idaho Falls Trip

Towards the end of August we made a really quick trip up to Idaho Falls for a cousins wedding. And by quick I mean, we drove up Friday afternoon and drove back home Saturday night. It was so fun to see family that I hadn't seen in a long time and I liked seeing a little bit of Idaho. I don't think I've been to Idaho since I went to EFY at BYU Idaho. My cousin was married in the Rexburg Temple, which was so fun to go in for the first time.

I love Tucker's grumpy face in this picture, he was definitely refusing to smile. This was at the family dinner the night before the wedding with my cousin Jewel.

All the rest of the pictures are from my dad, thanks! I really didn't take very many pictures, too busy having fun and taking care of kids.

The Idaho Falls temple right behind our hotel. Best view I have ever had at hotel.

Tucker went on a fun walk outside with my Dad. He is always happiest outside. First things he says to me in the morning, "I am sooo hungry can we have breakfast? Can we go outside?" His top two priorities food and playing outside.
