Final Day at Disneyland!

Our last day at Disneyland my Mom watched Halle, which made it so much easier. I don't know if I will ever take an infant again to Disneyland. It is hard to spend so much time feeding Halle and she would always wake up if we tried to take her on a ride because they are so noisy. So we had a good day at Disneyland since we didn't have to worry about Halle. I think Tucker was also used to waiting in lines, so he had a lot of fun as well.

We got there as the park opened so we could hurry and go on the Finding Nemo ride before the line got long. Even though Tucker was better at waiting in line, anything longer than 20 min. was really too long. We never made it on the Peter Pan ride because the wait was always too long.

I loved the Finding Nemo ride, it was pretty cute.

Autopia, such a classic! It would be a little better if you could bump the cars around you.

The teacups were funny, because we started spinning really fast and Tucker was laughing. But then he got kind of serious and we were worried he was getting motion sickness so we stopped spinning :)

We stopped at the Petting Zoo and Tucker loved the goats. He would take turns petting every single goat. We had fun until he started playing in the sawdust that they put down to soak up the pee, then we decided it was a good time to leave.

Tucker loved Tom Sawyer's Island. At first he was little bit nervous about the caves, but then he didn't want to leave and I did. Those caves are pretty small and not very fun for adults to climb around in. Tucker is so cautious it is kind of funny, he hates wobbly bridges and usually wants you to carry him.

We found Tucker a quiet place to have him take a little nap. Right as he woke up Jack Sparrow came walking up to the fountain we were sitting by. When Jack saw Tucker he said, "Oh, a little guppy!" Then tucker said no and gave him this angry face because he was not happy after having woken up from his nap and Jack said, "or a barnacle." It was pretty funny, he actually did a really good impression of Jack Sparrow.

Tucker's my little Yoda, using his light saber as a walking stick.

We got reserved seating for Fantasmic so we didn't have to worry about finding a good seat. The treats it came with were so delicious and we loved the show. We actually stayed for the fireworks right after, but they didn't do the new fireworks for some reason so I was a little disappointed. Tucker did really well considering we stayed there until 10 at night and he only got a 20 min. nap. It was a long day, but so fun. We even got to go on the new Star Tours ride! I wish we could go back!

Disneyland!

We took a day off after going to California Adventure to give the kids a day to recoup. We stayed at my Grandma's house since she lives about 15 min. away from Disneyland. We went to a fun park nearby, but unfortunately we didn't get to stay too long since Tucker had a poopy diaper and I didn't bring anything to change him with.

On the tram headed to Disneyland, so excited for our first day at Disneyland. Because, let's be honest, Disneyland is definitely cooler than California Adventure.

We decided to do a Character Breakfast so that Tucker could meet characters without having to wait in any lines and I am so glad we did. It was so much fun and Tucker absolutely loved all the characters. He would just jump up and down next to our table waiting for them to come to us.

The food was actually pretty good and it was buffet style so you could eat as much as you wanted. The mickey waffles were cute and we may have snuck out some chocolate milk to drink later in the day.

Tucker loved to give the characters big hugs, I think he could have hugged them forever, maybe because they are so soft and furry?

The only character Tucker was a little unsure about was Captain Hook, he did not give him a big hug. We did get him to shake his hook though.

Winnie the Pooh ride! Another favorite of Tucker's, also nice because it had a very short line.

The train around Disneyland. I really felt like just taking a break and riding this around the park a few times.

Tucker loved all the cars in Toontown. He really had to drive every single one of them. One time I tried to get him out so someone else could have a turn and Tucker started throwing a tantrum. These other parents started getting mad at me saying it was his day at Disneyland, let him stay in the car. I felt like a really bad parent, oy. Disneyland is sometimes not the Happiest place on earth when you have kids throwing tantrums.

Jungle Cruise! It was a pretty fun day at Disneyland, but Tucker was pretty tired so we didn't stay too late. Tucker loved pirates, he got a little scared on the Haunted Mansion ride since we were next to a big group of screaming teenagers. One of my favorite parts, the Dole Whip from the Tiki Room!
