Miscellaneous Moments

Some random pictures from the last month or so...

Picnic at the park!

Tummy time for Finn. He tries so hard to roll over from his back to his stomach, but he's not quite there yet. I always wish I had one of those babies that will roll all over the place.

A walk to the park. Halle always has to bring her monkey in her stroller. Halle's monkey goes everywhere with her these days.

Tucker and Halle's favorite thing to do at the park is take off their shoes and climb up and down the slide and all over the playground.

Finn actually fit pretty well in Halle's stroller and Halle's stroller is surprisingly strong. Halle likes to sit in it and scoot herself along.

I love these pictures of Halle wearing the swim goggles, they showcase her quirky personality.

Sheldon and I woke up one morning to find Tucker and Halle washing off the marker they had colored all over their faces, hands, hair, etc. It reminded me of this children's book called Purple, Green, and Yellow. I'm just glad they were very washable markers and not super-indelible-never-come-off-til-you're-dead-and-maybe-even-later markers

Best friends watching a show together.

Finn getting a ride in the wagon. I remember when Halle used to ride in the wagon and we would pull her around our old neighborhood.

Playing on the swing-set at Grandma Mills' house.

Easter 2013

We had such a great Easter this year with great weather, family, lots of treats, and a special opportunity to remember our Savior and his resurrection. I think my favorite part of the weekend was Tucker singing a song called 'Gethsemane' for church. He worked so hard at practicing it and would sing it all the time. Tucker loves primary and as soon as sacrament meeting is over, he runs to his primary class all by himself.

The Saturday before Easter we spent the day at Dahlia's house. We had a great Easter egg hunt outside with perfect weather. They have a great yard for hiding Easter Egg's and I'm not sure if we found all the eggs.

Sneaking some candy!

Grandma Mills filled some eggs with objects relating to the Easter story. It was a great way to remember the real meaning of Easter.

We held a mini birthday celebration for Sheldon and he had lots of help blowing out his candles.. Somehow Sheldon is 31 and still looks the same as when I married him. It must be his easy going attitude and he doesn't stress about things.

Happy Finn! Always ready with a smile!

All worn out at the end of a great day!

Halle 2 years!

It's so hard to believe Halle is 2! It seems like just yesterday she was a chubby cheeked little girl who couldn't keep up with Tucker. Now she can easily do everything Tucker does and sometimes more. She has a huge appetite and will sometimes eat more than Tucker. She loves to climb on anything and is a little too fearless for her own good. Yesterday she watched a girl at the park go down the slide head first. Halle was quick to follow and I barely caught her in time. Tucker is definitely her best friend, whenever he leaves for preschool she is always very sad. It was actually quite an adventure at her 2 year checkup I took all 3 kids with me because I did Finn's 2 month at the same time. Luckily Halle didn't have to get any shots or it would have been terrible, but Finn was easy and happy and Halle calmed down pretty quickly after her turn was over. Her Stats:
Weight: 26 lb  39%
Length: 34.25"  58%
Head: 49.8 cm  94%
I love Halle and her big head. After the doctor I told the kids we could go get a treat because Halle and Finn were so good at their appointment and Tucker was quick to point out, "Finn was better than Halle at the Doctor." True, Halle did cry a lot more than Finn but at least she did better than normal.

Halle had a terrible ear infection over her birthday so we celebrated the day after and even then we didn't do much because she was still recovering.. Tucker and I made monkey cupcakes for her birthday and she got so excited when she saw them. Her monkey stuffed animal is her favorite. She is always rocking, burping, and feeding him.

We love our sweet, independent, cuddly, and quirky Halle!

Finn 2 Month

Finn is actually now 3 months old, but last month he had his 2 month checkup. His stats:
Weight: 11 lb 11 oz  24%
Length: 23.4"  39%
Head: 39 cm  12%
It's nice for once not having a baby with a huge head. We sure think Finn is handsome and he is starting to grab for his toys. He's always trying to see what Tucker and Halle are doing and puts up with lots of smothery hugs and kisses without fussing. It's so easy to get Finn to smile, no laughs yet, but I'm sure it won't be long.

Too much flash mom!

Look at my double chin!
