Babysitting

About two weeks ago we got to babysit this cute girl for 3 days. Her parents are our neighbors and good friends and they were headed to Zion for a few days, so we offered to babysit so they could have a fun weekend away and not have to worry about taking her camping. She was so easy to babysit, she slept through the night, kept Tucker entertained, and also made us very glad that we only have one baby.


They had a lot of fun taking a bath together, although Tucker's splashing was a little overwhelming to her sometimes.

She has the longest eyelashes, I love them! But she also has big, chubby cheeks. In this picture she's like, "I don't want water poured in my face! Don't mess with me, or else..."

We were feeding Tucker dinner one night and we decided to give Avery a little bit of food. Her parents have started feeding her some food, but not a lot so we thought she might like it, we were so wrong. This is what she did when we gave her some oatmeal

And then she gagged on it and and refused to swallow it. It sat on her tongue until she gagged and spit it out. It was just oatmeal, I promise!

Tucker has never, ever hated a food as much as she did, but then again he is a hungry boy just like his dad. He will eat just about anything you give him if he is hungry enough. I have a feeling that Avery is going to be a picky eater.
