Halle 2 months!
Halle had her 2 month appointment last week. She's healthy and growing lots, I forget how fast little babies grow.
Head: 15.5" 68%
Weight: 10.43 lb 40%
Length: 23.25" 83%
Tucker at 2 months weighed 12 lbs, but I feel like Halle is actually chunkier. I think it is because her head is rounder and gives her a little bit more of a double chin. Halle is so much fun now that she is smiling and talking. She is a true girl; happy as long as someone is talking and smiling to her. She is also doing really good at nights now, only getting up once and going right back to sleep. Yay for getting more sleep at night! We took some pictures of Tucker and Halle together. Tucker loves taking pictures now, he says, "Cheeeeese," and then says, "That was a good picture!"
Halle's getting ready to get Tucker...
BAM! Take that big brother!
Both looking at the camera! It is still really hard to get Halle to smile for the camera. She looks so serious.

Family Pictures
We were able to have family pictures taken about a week ago. I wanted some pictures of Halle taken, but they didn't have any sitting fees so we had pictures of the whole family. It was a pretty painless experience. Once Tucker warmed up he was laughing and having lots of fun. I don't think Halle cried at all even though we were there for 2-3 hours. I'm happy with how the pictures turned out, here are some of my favorites.I couldn't figure out how to rotate the pictures, so you'll just have to turn your head sideways :)

We've been Jimmered!
We're big fans of Jimmer Fredette! In case you haven't heard, here's a little video of him. Even Obama says he is the best scorer in the country. Go Cougars!

Disney on Ice and other events
Last Friday we went to Disney on Ice. We are planning on going to Disneyland in May and we are trying to get Tucker excited by teaching him about all things Disney. None of us had ever been to Disney on Ice before and it was pretty fun. Tucker just watched in awe the whole time and got really excited when Buzz Lightyear and Woody came on. He definitely needs to be exposed to a few more Disney characters. It was a fun night, except for afterwards at dinner when tucker started holding his tummy and acting like he wasn't feeling good. We were a little worried he was going to puke in the car, so we covered as much as we could with newspapers. Luckily for us we made it home fine and he never seemed to get sick.
We are loving the warmer weather, hopefully spring is on its ways!
Random pictures from bath time. Tucker was pretty good and didn't splash Halle too much.

Halle's Birth Story
I realized I never posted Halle's birth story. I'm always interested in other people's birth stories and I know I will forget all the details later, so I thought I should post Halle's.
Friday, Feb. 4th I went out to lunch with my sister to SLAB pizza. It was really good pizza so of course I totally ate way too much. That night when I started feeling sick around 6 pm I thought it was just due to my huge lunch. I started having regular contractions around 8 pm and was so disappointed to be going into labor about a week early. I had planned an awesome early valentine's date for Sheldon and I since Halle was due on the 13th. Halle was ready to come though and contractions continued. They were getting pretty intense so I woke Sheldon up and decided we should head to the hospital at about midnight. I was only 4 cm dilated when we got to the hospital, so I was very disappointed and worried that I was going to be in labor for a long time. I stayed at a 4 for about 2 hours and just when I was ready to have them drug me up they checked me and I was at an 8. My water broke soon after and then I was ready to push! 3 or 4 pushes later and Halle was out in the world! Things happened so quickly that my midwife didn't make it there in time, but luckily I had some great nurses. Halle's umbilical cord was really short for some reason so it was kind of hard to hold her right after. Then Sheldon cut the cord and she was just a healthy little girl screaming away. It was a much quicker labor than Tucker's, but definitely more intense. We were so grateful Halle didn't have any complications like Tucker. Recovery has been so much easier the second time around. I didn't tear at all and felt like I hadn't even had a baby a few days after. Now if only getting babies to sleep through the night could be as easy :)

Survived!
We have officially survived the first 2 weeks! I definitely see that as an accomplishment, but I feel like it should have already been a month at least. Tucker was super sick a week and a half ago, probably the sickest he has ever been in his life, poor little guy. The Dr. was worried he had pnuemonia and he had to get x-rays and tests done, but luckily it turned out to just be nasty cold/cough/fever all put together. He is finally healthy again and it is relief! Halle is doing great, she had her 2 week appt. on Monday and is definitely gaining weight. She already has a little double chin. Her stats:
Weight: 7.9 lbs 35%
Length: 20.5 in 53%
Head: 14.3 in 53%
I'm getting used to always being slightly tired and Tucker is adjusting to having Halle around. He likes to drive cars on her stomach and is always happy to share his bear and monkey with her. He sometimes says, "Mama, put Halle down!" when he wants something, but in general he doesn't seem to mind having her around. We had my mom here for about a week and half, which was a big help and we were very sad to see her go. Sheldon also had a week off of work, which was too much fun. The first day Sheldon had to go back to work, Tucker saw him getting dressed up for work and realized where he was going. He started screaming, "Pants off, pants off!" Here are some random pictures from the past 2 weeks.
