Just can't get enough...

Since Sheldon and I are going to be gone for a while, I decided to do one more post with this video. Oh man, I just can't get enough of Tucker laughing. He makes me feel like such a comedian, all we were doing in this video was jumping up and down and trying to scare him, and apparently it was pretty hilarious. You can skip closer towards the end if you want, that's when he really gets laughing.

Rachel, I think he has laughing heimers :)

More fun friends..

This week Sheldon and I were lucky enough to have one of our favorite friends and her daughter visit us. Carrie moved about a year ago to New Mexico since Tyler, her husband, got a job there. We have missed playing games with them, especially super-competitive games of Settlers of Cataan. In general we just miss being able to hang out with them all the time! Arya is 1 year old and she is so cute and just full of never ending energy. I had a hard time taking pictures of her since she never stopped moving.

We think Tucker and Arya should get married someday, I think they make a pretty cute couple :)

This picture is funny because Tucker was being fussy and so Arya wouldn't stop looking at him. It's really hard to get little kids to look at the camera, especially at the same time! The only bad thing about having such good friends visit is that you end up missing them more! Carrie, I miss you! Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Fun with Friends

Last Friday we were able to babysit our friend's little girl while they had a night out to themselves. She is such a cute girl and she is about two months old. It was fun to have Avery and Tucker play together and compare their different personalities. I loved all these pictures we took, because Avery makes such funny faces and I can just picture funny stories in my head as I look at the pictures.

1. Avery and Tucker just discovering each other
2. Tucker trying to talk louder than Avery, because she is pretty chatty
3. Avery definitely doesn't like Tucker's yelling
4. Tucker thinking: Hey, you're kind of pretty
5. Tucker: Wow, there is totally a hot girl sitting next to me!
6. Avery: He's all right, nothing special
7. Avery: I'm totally cuter
8. Tucker: Hey, maybe we could go out sometime
9. Avery: Ewww, cooties! (Throwing hands up in the air trying to push him away)

Yes, I am definitely putting off doing all the cleaning that needs to get done and instead writing weird stories.

New Cousin!

We are so excited to have another cousin for Tucker to play with and only about 5 months difference in age! Clayton (still haven't heard how to spell his first name, so sorry Dahlia if I got it wrong) Asher Bone was born on January 15th, after about only 12 hours of labor! Pretty impressive since this boy was 8 lbs 7 oz. He is so cute, it was so fun to go and visit him. I love holding little babies, especially when it's not your own and you don't have to get up with them in the night :)

I was trying to compare the size of the two babies, Tucker is obviously bigger, but Clayton is pretty big for a newborn.

Congrats Dahlia! We are so excited for you!

True Cougars

Sheldon and I went on an adventurous hike to the Y last week. Yes, the trail was definitely covered in tons of snow, but luckily Sheldon got us these cool snowshoe thingies to stick on our shoes so we had enough traction to hike in the snow. We had fun trying out our super cool backpack carrier for Tucker and I think Tucker had fun looking around at everything. This summer, we are all going to hike Timpanogos!
We made it to the top! So much fun (after it was over :)

Tucker was a little tired at the end of the hike, this is a picture of him totally slumped over to the side asleep. Poor little guy!
In other news, we fed Tucker rice cereal the first time a few weeks ago. He enjoyed it the first time, I think because he was really hungry when I gave it to him. I have stopped giving it to him though because he is not that interested. So I am just going to wait until he is six months old. He also went to the Dr. a week ago and of course is healthy and happy. He was giggling so much as the doctor was poking his stomach. He is 14.6 lbs, 26" and in the 30% for weight and the 70% for height. He is starting to turn into a long, skinny boy, I wonder where he gets that from? My favorite news about Tucker is that he is still sleeping through the night! I love not having to get up in the middle of the night!

Christmas!

Sheldon and I had an excellent christmas, and as you can see I was way to lazy to upload a bunch of pictures so you get to see them all in collage form. Christmas Eve we had dinner with Sheldon's brother's family. We had a great dinner, I made a turkey for the first time! I was pretty proud that I did all the gross stuff, like taking out the giblets and neck, ewww. Then we spent the next few days at Sheldon's parents house. It was very fun to have a break from everything and just relax and play games. My parents came up the next week and of course Tucker was never put down for a second! I was so glad they were able to come up even though it was such a short trip. Luckily it won't be too long before they get to take care of Tucker while we go to Brazil (21 days!!). I think they may get a little sick of him once they have to watch him for 10 days.

Even though this year's Chrismas wasn't filled with a ton of presents, I would say it was one of our more memorable Christmases. It was just great to be able to spend time with both our families and of course have fun with our little Tuck.

Keep Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'...

Tucker is so close to rolling over! Right now he is only close to doing it back to front. The days of leaving him on our bed are almost over..
